News Release: HSLM in Urgent Need of Wet Cat and Kitten Food Donations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LONDON, ON, March 14, 2019— Humane Society London & Middlesex (HSLM) is currently providing care and shelter to dozens of cats and kittens, and our supply of wet food is nearly depleted. As such, we are in urgent need of wet kitten and adult cat food of these specific brands:

  •  ‘Royal Canin’
  •  ‘Hill’s’
  •  ‘Purina Pro Plan/One’

These particular brands of feline canned food can be purchased at our retail partners:

  • Ren’s Pets Depot North (1979 Hyde Park Rd)
  • Ren’s Pets Depot South (3409 Wonderland Road South, Unit 10)
  • PetSmart Masonville (86 Fanshawe Park Rd East)
  • Pet Valu Westwood-London (425 Southdale Rd West)

Food donations can be dropped off at 624 Clarke Rd today and tomorrow from 1-6 pm or this weekend from 1-4:30 pm.

“As a non-profit organization who does not receive any type of direct Government funding, we are appealing to our community for assistance,” says HSLM Executive Director, Steve Ryall. “Contributions of items from our Wish List, such as wet cat and kitten food, allow us to allocate more funds towards routine and life-saving medications and medical procedures.”
