Thank you for your interest in supporting the animals in care at Humane Society London & Middlesex. By making a financial donation, your contribution goes further as we can often purchase supplies at a bulk price. If you would prefer to bring a donation of food or supplies to the shelter, we will gladly accept the items below.
Donations can be dropped off at 1414 Dundas Street.
Weekdays: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / Weekends: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We are so thankful for the kindness and generosity our community continues to show HSLM and the animals in our care.
To ensure we are using our space and resources as effectively as possible, we are no longer able to accept general donations of household and pet items. Instead, we will be focusing on items listed on our current wishlist.
We will continue to accept donations of pet food, kitty litter, and dog waste bags in support of our No Empty Bowls program, which helps provide basic necessities to animals in our community.
When specific needs arise, we will reach out—and we know our community will continue to step up in the incredible way you always do.
This change helps ensure that every donation we receive can be used effectively and directly supports the animals in our care.
If you have items you’re hoping to donate, we’d be happy to suggest other local rescues who may be able to make use of them.

- 100% Liver Dog Treats
- Gift cards to any local business and Amazon.ca
- Peanut Butter (any kind)
- Durable Rope Dog Toys (Benebone, Kong “extreme" or BullyMake toys)
- Paper towels, Kleenex boxes, toilet paper
- Animal Handling Equipment (slip leads, martingale collars – all sizes, and easy walk harnesses, 10-15 ft leashes, and Double Ended Clasp Leash Connectors)
- Critters/Small Animals Items (Western Timothy hay unopened), paper bedding, unopened pelleted food (Oxbow only), unopened treats (all brands)
- Small animal chews/enrichment toys (sealed/unopened), plastic/wood houses)
- Assorted Items (Feliway or Adaptil spray only), paper litter (pellets)
- Canine Pill Pockets
No Empty Bowls Request
- All brands of opened and unopened bags of pet food, as long as they are in the original pet food packaging.
