Our volunteer team is integral to all aspects of HSLM work. The dedication and support of our volunteers help us to continue to improve the lives of animals who are waiting for their forever homes.
There are many opportunities to join us for an unforgettable volunteer experience. Whether it is taking a dog on a walk, cuddling a cat, bonding with bunnies, cleaning the shelter, supporting administration and events, or even cutting the grass – Lending a hand helps animals in need at HSLM.
Not an animal expert? No problem – If making a significant difference in the lives of shelter animals is something you're passionate about, we want to hear from you!
Please note that volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Not 18? You can still help by holding events to raise funds for the animals in our care.
