LONDON, ON, October 3, 2018—Amazon Canada has named London as the Country’s most pet-pampering city for 2018. The list was compiled by Amazon comparing per capita sales data for pet items purchased on Amazon.ca from August 2017 to August 2018 in cities with more than 100,000 residents across Canada.
Humane Society London & Middlesex created an Amazon Canada Wish List in 2018. Anyone, anywhere, anytime can go directly to our wishlist or through the HSLM website and social media channels to purchase products or gift cards. These gifts are then automatically delivered to Humane Society London & Middlesex at 624 Clarke Road in London, Ontario. This program has been very successful for London Humane Society. “Upon launching the program followed by a campaign via social media, the results were amazing,” explains Steve Ryall, Executive Director of Humane Society London & Middlesex. Steve adds that “it was a brilliant idea by our staff to create the list, and really exemplifies our new approach in accommodating citizens who want to participate with our organization.”
