After many months spent in the shelter, Gavin has finally found his forever home!
Many HSLM supporters and animal lovers like to follow our animals’ journeys – from when they come into the shelter, all the way until they find their forever homes.
When an animal spends many months in our shelter, you, like us, root for them to find their forever home, checking our adoption website daily for updates.
For many of you, this may have been the case with Gavin, our beautiful black and white feline. Gavin was in our care for just about a year, and unfortunately, he was having a difficult time getting any adoption interest.
Finally, after many, many months, we are sharing Gavin’s happy tail with you all! We are so proud to say that Gavin has found his forever home, with a family who loves him ever so.
An update from Gavin’s parents:
“Gavin is doing well! It’s been a slow adjustment but he’s warming up to his new home and family. Gavin was very interested in the other cats, even though they weren’t sure of him. He’s very playful and loves his head scratches. We love that he knows his own boundaries and is very vocal about it. Josh and I love how he is always very excited when we get home from work. Gavin’s a sweetheart and we are happy that he has joined the family.”
Everyone at HSLM could not be more happy for Gavin. Way to go, buddy!
