HSLM was proud to participate in National Adoption Week at PetSmart London East from July 21 to July 27. It was a fantastic week filled with meaningful connections, community support, and, most importantly, happy new beginnings for several of our animals.
Over the course of the week, nine animals found their forever homes through adoptions at PetSmart London East. We truly enjoyed engaging with our wonderful community, and we were especially touched by surprise visits from a few HSLM alumni. One memorable moment was a visit from Lamb, a dog who stopped by for a grooming appointment exactly one year to the day after his adoption.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support us, whether through conversations, donations, or simply sharing in the joy of the event. Your support helps us continue to provide second chances to animals in need across London and Middlesex. We would also like to give a special thank you to our amazing volunteers for their dedication and support during the week.
Finally, we want to thank PetSmart Charities of Canada for their continued generosity and partnership. We are proud to work alongside an organization that shares our commitment to helping vulnerable animals. A heartfelt thank you as well to the team at PetSmart London East for their outstanding support throughout the week.
