London Humane Society Welcomes New Executive Director

New Executive Director Steve Ryall.

LONDON, March 22, 2018 — London Humane Society is proud to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director, Steve Ryall.

“On behalf of the London Humane Society Board of Directors and staff, we are so pleased to welcome Steve to our organization,” says London Humane Society Board of Directors Chair, Cindy Raikes. “Steve’s experience, skills and enthusiasm make him the right fit for the role of Executive Director. We are excited to work with Steve in the development and implementation of our shared vision for the future of London Humane Society.”

Steve comes to London Humane Society with a long career in working with not-for-profits and in event management. His strong relationships within our community will help raise awareness of the work London Humane Society provides.  Steve and his wife enjoy many sports, community events and family time.

“My new role as Executive Director of London Humane Society is an exciting challenge and one that I am thrilled to take on,” says Steve. “Together, the London Humane Society team – the staff, Board Members, volunteers and I – will work hard on behalf of London & Middlesex County’s surrendered, mistreated and neglected companion animals to strive to ensure that our programs and services work as effectively as possible.”

London Humane Society was established as a non-profit organization in 1899 and exists to improve the lives of animals in London and Middlesex County by providing temporary shelter and appropriate new families for surrendered, abandoned and cruelly treated animals.
