Position Overview:
The Executive Director is the organization’s leader responsible for operationalizing the organization’s mission, vision and values. This role ensures that all internal systems support quality animal shelter, health and welfare. These systems also need to align with wise stewardship of a registered non-profit resources as we act as the transitional owners of the community’s adoptable companion animals in a sustainable manner. This leader is also accountable for representing the organization in the external ecosystem of animal welfare in alignment with our vision and values. In addition, the ED is a key advisor to the Board on emergent strategic directions and a key partner in broader leadership in the community.
