Michael DeLorenzi
Chair

Michael is the President of Northern Commerce, Canada’s leading Digital Agency. He oversees the senior leadership and management teams, with a focus on improving Northern’s solution offering and developing an outstanding corporate culture. He is also responsible for strengthening Northern's value proposition by establishing strategic partnerships with leading technology firms such as Adobe and Google. Michael is an innovative entrepreneur with a passion for giving back to the community. Most notably he has developed NCares, a platform for corporate philanthropy that has raised and contributed over $700,000 to deserving organizations. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and caring for his Savannah cat, Buckey.

Matthew D. Reid
Vice Chair

Matt is a Personal Injury Lawyer and Partner at Cohen Highley Law Firm in London. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013.

Matt is the former chair of the Thames Valley District School Board and School Trustee for London Wards 2-6 from 2013-2018. He currently sits on the Middlesex London Health Unit’s Board of Directors and has served on a variety of community boards and organizations. Matt has volunteered in Africa and was the recipient of the Loran National Scholarship while at Western. He was named one of London’s Top 20 under 40 in 2016 and was nominated for a Pillar Community Innovation Award in 2019.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys travelling.

Kyle Crichton, CPA
Treasurer

Kyle is the Director of Finance at Northern Commerce where he oversees the corporate finance and accounting activities of Northern and its sister companies. Prior to joining Northern, Kyle worked at EllisDon within the Capital group and prior to that, he worked in the Assurance Services group of Ernst & Young LLP.

Kyle attended the University of Western Ontario where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree, Honours Specialization in Accounting. Whenever possible, he enjoys spending time mountain biking, playing soccer and travelling. Kyle and his partner, Elizabeth, have a Sheltie named Phoebe and two cats – Sushi and Pumpkin.

Jessica Mullen, BA
Secretary

Jessica is a graduate from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Criminology. She has always valued community, serving many volunteer roles including: Victim Services, the Big Sisters program, and Outreach for Hunger.
Jessica and her partner love to travel the world and both share a passion for animals. They have a rescue Lab/Shepherd cross named Link and a cat named Lua.

Lance Ceaser

Lance has been practising management-side labour and employment law for over 17 years.  After working at a boutique management side firm for several years, Lance joined BlackBerry (then “Research In Motion”) and held the position of Senior Legal Counsel – Employment, with responsibility for all in-house employment law matters throughout the Americas (Canada, the U.S. and several countries in Latin America).  Lance returned to London (where he has lived for over 30 years) and opened his own labour and employment law practice, Ceaser Work Counsel, in March 2014.  He advises and represents employers in virtually all sectors.

He is a two-time graduate of Western University (B.A. in English, LLB), and also received his Master’s Degree in English (Creative Writing) from the University of New Brunswick.  Lance enjoys hanging out with his spouse, Char, playing with their two cats and one dog, travel, and listening to his music collection.

Eric Conway

Eric is from Burlington, ON but has spent most of his adult life in London until recently relocating to Thunder Bay. He is a consulting landscape architect pursuing projects throughout northwestern Ontario. He has many pets and enjoys exploring new hiking trails with his dogs.


Amanda Li, BSc Honors, DVM

Originally from Vancouver, BC, Amanda graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in the Bio-Medical Science program. After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College, Amanda moved to London where she currently practices as an associate veterinarian. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, trying new recipes, and exploring with her two dogs, Wilshire and Halifax.

Cavin Morton CIM, HBA 

Cavin is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities, Canada’s largest full service investment and wealth management firm. He has 15 years of progressively senior experience in capital markets and wealth management with two of Canada’s largest financial institutions.

Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Cavin worked on Bay Street with corporate and institutional clients in the capital markets business of a major Canadian bank. During his tenure, he analyzed and advised on over $3 billion of corporate mergers and acquisitions, and over $1 billion in financings for public companies. Cavin graduated with distinction from the Honours Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School and holds several designations and certifications in investment and wealth management. He is passionate about caring for animals in need and can often be found spending time with his beloved Boston Terrier, Ivey.

Adela Talbot

Adela is a graduate of Western University and McMaster University. Throughout her career, she has worked in traditional news media, postsecondary instruction and corporate communications in higher education, fitness and tech industries. She works for ABB in HR communications.

Outside of work, Adela is an avid reader and a retired distance runner with dozens of races, including the Boston Marathon, under her belt. She enjoys hiking, traveling and exploring the outdoors with her husband, Andrew and their Australian Cattle Dog, Bobby. She loves all animals and has a special fondness for dogs.
